Shipping & Returns

Shipping:

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

All orders that are to be shipped to a Post Office (P.O.) box, will need to be shipped via USPS.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.  There are circumstances where the dimensional weight will be higher than the measured weight and this may result in a higher cost.

Receipt Of Goods:

It is very important to check the accuracy and condition of the items shipped to you immediately upon receipt of such items.  We request that you perform the inspection within 72 hours to allow a claim to be filed with shipping company if any damage has occured.  Performing this inspection of shipped items will also assist in avoiding any misunderstanding, delays and/or inconvience.  DO NOT allow any products that you deem to be damaged or unacceptable in any way to be installed.  Baths From The Past considers that any products which is installed by customer is considered to be acceptable.  

Claims and Damages:

All items that we sell are inspected and tested prior to departure from warehouse and are delivered to shipping company in good order.  All claims for damage to items in shipment must be immediately made to the carrier by the buyer.  Any other claims for variance or missing items will not be considered unless they are made within five days after receipt of items.  The buyer agrees to make all claims for items that are damaged or lost in transit against the shipping company.

Returns Policy:

You may return most new, unopened items which have not been installed within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.  A return merchandise authorization must be obtained prior to shipping any merchandise back to Baths From The Past.

Returns made for any reason other than an error in shipping or defective item will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.  Shipping costs for returns will be paid for by the buyer.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process and inspect your return once we receive it (5 to 10 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
