Terms and conditions of sale.

All orders are subject to prices as they exist at time of receipt of order.
Sales tax will be added to all orders where required. Prices established on this site are subject to change without notice at any time.

1. Limited warranty Besco plumbing sales products are inspected,and tested with care before shipping and are warranted to be free from defects in materials for one year from date of purchase,by original buyer.

2. Material which proves to be defective upon inspection by BFP/Besco will be repaired or replaced at option of BFP/Besco.

NO CLAIMS FOR LABOR,SHIPPING OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND WILL BE ACCEPTED.
ACCEPTANCE OF GOODS CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS.

This warranty applies only when goods are installed in a workmanly manner according to manufacturer's instructions or normal procedure and care , and used for purposes and conditions intended.

Many man hours are spent on each piece to insure the quality of products finishes,and also making sure the product is properly packaged for shipping.

Refinishing charge may apply if product is returned in damaged condition.

Please take note that brass items are heavy and damage easily, parts can knock against each other in transit.

3. Warranty with respect to products of another manufacturer sold by BFP/Besco is limited to the warranty extended to BFP/Besco by that manufacturer.

All faucets and fittings supplied with uncoated brass finish are sold : As is with respect to changes in appearance of finish.

4. RETURNED GOODS - any merchandise returned for credit or refund (excluding warranty claims) must be made within 30 days of our shipping date.

A RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION NUMBER(RMA #) from our company is required for all returns.

Items must be returned postpaid (c.o.d. returns not accepted) in unmodified, clean saleable condition as when shipped.

Unless by special agreement, custom orders are not returnable.

Returned goods must be CLEAN IN SEALABLE CONDITION AND properly repackaged, so as goods do not suffer damage in transit.

Also a copy of original order invoice, along with detailed information regarding problems
REPLACEMENTS, RETURNS for credit or refund. There will be a restocking fee of 20 % on all returned items.

5. DELIVERY / SHIPPING DAMAGE - delivery to carrier will constitute delivery to customer.
BFP/Besco's responsibility terminates upon delivery in good order to carrier

All goods are shipped at customer's risk,and are insured with the carrier for its full value.
Any claim for loss or damage in transit must be reported promptly by customer against carrier.

PLEASE INSPECT EACH PACKAGE for visible damage and note on receipt before signing.
You must report any concealed damage within 5 days from receipt.

All original packaging material must be retained for carrier's inspection.
Before replacement merchandise is issued to you,a claim for a loss or damage MUST BE FILED WITH CARRIER.(UPS or Common carrier trucking service)

6. SHIPPING / HANDLING - most items are shipped by UPS, which generally needs a street address.
Please do not use a P.O. box for your address, unless you know it will be delivered.

Shipping and handling charges are applied according to weight,preparation, mode of transportation,
Crating and foaming charges will be applied to most sinks , toilets and tubs.

7. BACK ORDERS - items in stock will ship within a few days.
On back ordered items: You may wait until item is available,order a substitute, or cancel your request for the item.

ON CREDIT CARD ORDERS, your account will only be debited upon shipment of items you ordered,unless it is a custom made order
CUSTOM ORDERS or product modifications.
We reserve right to make minor product changes and modification and improvements that may look slightly different from pictures shown or described within this site.

*ACCEPTANCE OF GOODS CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS *

NOTE Unlacquered polished brass will tarnish naturally with time and acquire an antique patina or darkened color.
